In the heart of Warsaw

Warsaw, featuring a wealth of culture but also leisure, entertainment and shopping opportunities, is one of Europe’s hotspots. Mamaison Residence Diana Warsaw is located smack in the middle of the vibrant city centre. From this prime location, you’ll be able to reach the Royal Castle within approx. 5 minutes on foot. To enjoy a day of shopping, we suggest a visit to Nowy Świat street (approx. 250 m) and Krakowskie Przedmieście (approx. 850 m).

Prestigious boutiques, exclusive shops and numerous dining facilities are only a few meters away. You’ll be able to reach the main station after about 1 km, and the old city with its marketplace and Royal Castle is only about 2 km away.

Defilad Square with the Palace of Culture and Science

Defilad Square (Plac Defilad, located about 650 m away from the hotel) is where the communists used to give their public speeches. Today, the venue is a stage for artistic and cultural events in the centre of Warsaw. Here you’ll also find the striking Palace of Culture and Science (Pałac Kultury i Nauki). Built in 1955, it was a gift from the Soviet Union. Today it is filled with cafés, cinemas, theatres and museums. From the 30th floor you can enjoy impressive panoramic views of the city. The palace has long been the dominant symbol of Warsaw.

Royal Route and Powiśle

The Royal Route (Droga Królewska) is made up of several streets, including Nowy Świat (approx. 250 m from the hotel) and Krakowskie Przedmieście (approx. 850 m). Coming from Royal Castle it leads to Wilanow Palace. Exclusive shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars, cafés, clubs and cultural activities offer variety all year round: fine festive Christmas aromas in the winter, local specialties in the parks in the spring and summer. Powiśle is an area to the left of the Vistula River, about 1.5 km away from the hotel. A favourite location for art enthusiasts, cyclists, but also all those looking to relax in the cafés, restaurants, bookstores, music bars and alongside the Vistula River.

Saxon Garden

Saxon Garden (Ogród Saski, about 1 km away from the hotel) is a public park with inviting lawns and magnificent trees, joined by the Saxon Palace featuring the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (Grób Nieznanego Żołnierza). It is a commemoration to the unknown fallen soldiers of the battle for Poland’s freedom. Today the park is the perfect place for a run, some timeout or to simply feed the ducks.
